He is an Information Technology (IT) consultant for small business networks and residential clients, specializing in both Windows and Macintosh. Remember, there are two kinds of hard drives: those that are dead, and those that are going to die. Do you have a regularly implemented backup system for when the inevitable happens? Eric can also help with: • Preserving family photos • Facebook setup and usage • System security • Installing and removing programs • Cell phone applications • Video calling • Other new applications Eric's usual fee is $85 per hour ($75/hour for pledging UUCSR Friends and Members) – but the high bidder will win two hours of Eric's consulting time while supporting the work of our congregation. 814 Professional Wildfire Consultation Quantity: 1 Allow my 41 years of experience with California fires to help explore questions you may have about our recent fire exposure. What happened on that Sunday night none of us will soon forget? Will it happen again? Do you want to rebuild? How will the burned forest and natural landscape recover? We could meet for an hour or two at church, over coffee, at your property, driving through a burned neighborhood, hiking through the fire-adaptive ecology in a local park, or other venue based on your area of interest. Includes bidder plus family members or friends up to 5 people maximum. Donor: Ethan Foote Minimum Bid: $40.00

815 Wildfire Protection Building Construction Plan Quantity: 1 Two-hour consultation on pragmatic building code compliance and/or proactive wildfire protection measures. See my (pre-retirement state fire marshal) webpage http://osfm.fire.ca.gov/codedevelop.m.ent/wildfireprotection for scope of expertise. Most effective if used in conjunction with your design professionals (e.g. architects, contractors) in the early planning stages for your new home. Also useful for specific building material selections (e.g. gutters), construction methods (e.g. attic ventilation), and navigating this small slice of the byzantine world of code requirements during the building permit process. Donor: Ethan Foote Minimum Bid: $80.00
