GREECE KITE & SAIL CAMP 2020 THE MAGIC LAND OF MELTEMI New Catamaran Infinity Lagoon 500 and North KB 2020 Kite Gear

During July and August there is only one place where to be in the Med, a magic country called Greece where the strong local Meltemi wind is blowing from north and the traditional white and blu villages are shining for the local night life. 9 days (10 days period 1 and 11 days period 7) on board a 50 feet sailing catamaran sailing from island to island kiting every day in a different spot and visiting traditional villages: Paros, Antiparos, Naxos, Mykonos, Rinia, Kofounissi, Syros and Kithnos. The catamaran Lagoon 500 is equipped with watermaker, 2 SUPs, new North Kiteboarding gear and a 25 hp tender for rescue and wakeboarding. On board will be 3 crew members: skipper, kite instructor and chef providing sailing, spot guiding, rescue, coaching and full board service.

The Action Cruise is a team of passionate friends who love kiting, exploring and sailing. We travel in the Med and in the Caribbean since 2015 on a sailing catamaran exploring virgin kite spots. Sharing passion and enthusiasm for exploring, kiting, sailing and adventure, connecting people with same desires and collecting crews for kite & sail camps around the world to go kiting in the most beautiful spots from a sailing catamaran. ROUTE and SPOTS

We will sail from Paros to Paros around the central Cyclades. Route and spots will be chosen according the weather and wind conditions to maximize the kiting action. The main islands and spots will be Paros, Antiparos, Naxos, Kofounissi, Rinia and Mykonos. A visit to Ios and Donoussa could be an option too. During period 1 and 7 we will sail from and to Athens and for these periods it will be possible to visit Kithnos and Syros islands too.

KITING, COACHING & RESCUE, LESSON and RENTAL

To enjoy every spots independently kiters need to be able to ride upwind independently in every wind conditions, control the kite on the land, body drag upwind, relaunch the kite from water, bodydrag to their lost board and self landing the kite with chicken loop quick release. Kiter who are not independent have to declare their ability before booking and will take lessons or lift package during the camp.

Rescue: kiters can count on the assistance of a 4m long, 25 hp tender. Tender is available for rescue and assistance, not for lifting upwind kiters who are not able to kite upwind. In this case kiters have to book lessons or lift package. Lift package: 3 lifts upwind per day. Lift is for independent riders who needs help to start on onshore beach. Lift is not assisted. To get lift + assistance a rider should book a lesson.

Beginner’s lessons are delivered in the quantity of max 1h - 2h per day per beginner according to wind conditions and spot availability.

Lessons, lift service and rental have to be booked in advanced and are subjected to availability.

The setting up, the taking off and the landing of the kite will be done sometimes from the catamaran. Staff will help and assist the riders.

LIFE ON BOARD

Staff: two Skippers - Kite Instructors and one Chef - Kite Instructor

Luggage: it is advisable to use soft and foldable bags, hard cases not allowed. Long kite bags will be stored outside and used to store the boards.

Electricity: 12 V and 220V max 1200W (only low power hairdryer are allowed)

Available on board NKB 2020 gear, 2 SUPs and 25 hp tender for rescue and wakeboarding

Guests have to arrange their owns one covering accidents, medical treatments and damage to third parties during kitesurfing activities.
