Status: September 2018 Project goals and main focuses The project aim is to improve opportunities for female migrants and refugees concerning education, vocational training and integration into working life in STEM (MINT) fields as well as to provide them with special information. We demand that the support for these women and girls should be reinforced in future, in those areas in which other children and adults have already been supported. They must not be left behind. The STEM (MINT) fields offer good opportunities for this purpose.

The focal points of the project are education, career entry and authentication of degrees of female migrants and refugees.

Measures regarding the main focuses . Gathering information and making it available to everyone (Web, Facebook) . Extending the awareness level of our project and establishing further contacts . Consulting female refugees and cooperating with respective institutions . Launching projects in order to provide direct assistance to female refugees and to cooperate with our partners regionally and nationwide on female political level in general, as well as in our public relations. Project initiators and coordinators the project-related working group was initiated at the general meeting of the dib. e. V. in in November 2015. The NUT e. V. Future plan Continuation and intensification of our hitherto work, e. g.: extending our network and personal contacts with female refugees and migrants, expansion and further activities of our working group, expanding our activities in more cities in Germany or globally and also showing a stronger presence on internet, facebook and instagram.

Organising further joint events, especially government-financed projects with present and future partners like migrant organisations, member associations of The German Women´s Council and other institutions such as The Federal Employment Agency and its regional agencies, The Federal Ministry of Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, Universities, Universities of Applied Sciences, Job Portals of the Employment Agencies, Chambers of Commerce and Industry and so on.
