• We needed an easier, inexpensive way to execute the idea and concept for a

10 Benefits of Smartphone Cameras • Auto features • Size * beneficial in tight spaces *dynamic shots /third or second camera with limited crew *interesting angles • Frame rates and resolution (iPhone from 720pHD @30fps to 4K @60fps )

11 Limitations of Smartphone Cameras

• Image- Aesthetically doesn’t look like DSLR or Mirrorless

• Depth of field- Hard to get the shallow depth of field you can get with DSLR or mirrorless cameras *no real ability to rack focus • Jittering effect/competes with image stabilization • Limits recording Audio with video • Post production workflow
