Infant Jesus of Prague School CARITAS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Since 1843, the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Catholic schools have served as a force for good in our communities. Our schools set the standard for faith, excellence and service, and provide those in poverty with the opportunity to improve their future through education. Understanding that Catholic schools are vital in forming the next generation in faith and knowledge, with input and direction from a group of donors the archdiocese created the Caritas Scholarship Program in 2014 to ensure that access to a high-quality, Catholic education continues to be a possibility for students and families across Cook and Lake Counties. The Caritas Scholarship fund also includes support from the archdiocese. Caritas scholarships are awarded to elementary school students and are intended to be renewable for three years and thereafter, subject to need. Families who participate in the program are required to contribute to the cost of education to demonstrate their commitment.
