…that we encourage everyone to participate in the weekly challenges from the Religion in the Home Committee. Next week’s challenge is listed below:

1. Thursday of next week is the memorial of St. . Did you know that St. Thomas is the patron of students? When he was young, people called him the “dumb ox” because they thought he was not smart. But Thomas studied really hard and did better in school. He wrote lots of books, and now he is a “” because the things that he wrote are so brilliant! Pray this prayer that he wrote and prayed: 2. “Come, Holy Spirit, Divine Creator, true source of light and fountain of wisdom! Pour forth your brilliance upon by dense intellect, dissipate the darkness which covers me, that of sin and of ignorance. Grant me a penetrating mind to understand, a retentive memory, method and ease in learning, the lucidity to comprehend, and abundant grace in expressing myself. Guide the beginning of my work, direct its progress, and bring it to successful completion. This I ask through Jesus Christ, true God and true man, living and reigning with You and the Father, forever and ever. Amen.”
