FLOW Follies

(http://www.flowfollies.org/TFFFAQs.asp)When/Where: Thursday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ramapo High School (http://wyckoff.patch.com/listings/ramapo-high-school) auditorium in Franklin Lakes. Additional performances will be held March 11 and 12, 7:30 p.m. and March 13 at 2 p.m. Why Go: The annual variety show, "There's No Business Like FLOW Business," is written and performed by volunteer parents and educators to raise money for 50 scholarships — 25 for Indian Hills High School seniors and 25 for Ramapo High seniors. Since its inception 25 years ago, FLOW Follies has raised about $405,000 in scholarships for the Ramapo-Indian Hills Community. Price: $15 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. The Harmony Brothers Live (http://patch.com/E-dDCv) Endless Vine (http://franklinlakes.patch.com/listings/endless-vine), 823 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes Why Go: Jeff Slome and Doug Fried sing and play a variety of insturments, incxluding 6- and 12-string acoustic guitars, electric guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, harmonica, drums, banjo, and mandolin. City of Angels (http://mahwah.patch.com/events/city-of-angels-musical-by-mhs-drama-club-3)When/Where: Sunday, March 13, 2 to 4 p.m. Ridge Rd, Mahwah High School Why Go: It’s a fabulous blend of post-war jazz that orchestrates a storyline that jumps from classic film noir to Hollywood glamour in the late 40s. Actors bounce back and forth between characters in the shadowy black and white world of hardboiled detective film and the larger than life in living color world of Hollywood peppered with film royalty. Nobody escapes unscathed in the witty and irreverent glimpse at some of our favorite film and industry icons. Price: $12 Adults - $6 Students and Senior Citizens

Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge (http://www.rbari.org/latin%20night_2-001.jpg) (http://www.rbari.org/latin%20night_2-001.jpg)"Latin Night" (http://www.rbari.org/latin%20night_2-001.jpg)When/Where: Friday, March 11 at the American Legion Post 147 in Elmwood Park at 7 p.m. Why Go: The dinner/dance fundraiser will allow attendees to enjoy music from DJ Animal as well as food, soda, beer and a cash bar. Price: Tickets are $30 in advance; no tickets will be sold at the door.

Tick, Tick... BOOM! Pine Library Gallery will host a reception with oil painter Maureen Casey. Casey's exhibition, which will be on display at the library through April, is titled “Whiskers and Roses." Pets and flowers have a special place in the heart of Casey, a resident of Waldwick. and her own pets are featured among the pet portraits on exhibit. The artist comments, “I love flowers and animals. The glow of the sunlight illuminating the petal of a flower, the faces of my and dogs as they are soaking up the warm sunlight in the morning - these are the things that inspire me to paint.” Pricing: Free

Enjoy a light breakfast while you listen to The Schmoozer talk about sports and answer your questions. Reservations are requested. Come and listen to Whole Foods Market Healthy Eating Specialist, Holly Shelowitz, speak on a panel of New Jersey drinking water experts to help decipher between myth and fact of the tap versus bottled water debate. They will also cover the conservation of water in our environment and why certain water can be harmful to your health. Also, taste test different samples of Whole Foods Market's bottled water to determine whether you can tell the difference between glass and plastic. Pricing: Free

Fight Autism Spaghetti Dinner (http://westwood-washington.patch.com/events/fight-autism-spaghetti-dinner)When/Where: Saturday, March 12 at 5 p.m. Westwood Community Center, 55 Jefferson Ave, Westwood Why Go: The second annual spaghetti dinner to help fight autism includes food, silent auctions, games, raffles and more. The dinner is hosted by UNICO and The Garden Academy of Maplewood. Price: $15 for adults/$10 for children ages 5-16/children under 5 free.

St. Patrick’s Dinner Dance (http://westwood-washington.patch.com/listings/knights-of-columbus-council-5427)When/Where: Saturday, March 12 from 7 to 11 p.m. Knights of Columbus Council 5427, 79 Pascack Rd, Township of Washington, NJ Why Go: The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Dinner Dance with the traditional corned beef and cabbage and trimmings. Dessert and coffee are also included and there will be an open bar. Mclaughlin Irish Dancers and Dan Boyce, a bagpiper, are performing. Price: $35 per person
