FLIGHT follows famed American aviator Charles Lindbergh during fourteen critical years in his life: from his historic flight to Paris, to the kidnapping of his son, to his obsession with science, to his sudden decision to move to Europe and the anti-Semitic remarks he made at the outbreak of World War II. The play is a deconstruction of an American icon and an exploration of the effects the media and fame have on our celebrities.

Director NICK CORLEY directed the world premiere of Eliot Ness in Cleveland (also co-adaptation) at the Denver Theatre Center; the original production of The Civil War at Houston's Alley Theatre; A Young Lady of Fashion (also co-author) at the historic Fulton Opera House; and the off-Broadway productions of Fables in Slang: A Revue and Tintypes for Melting Pot.

Playwright GARTH WINGFIELD is the author of Dating Games, a collection of short plays that ran at the Theater Row Studio Theater in June 2003 and later in Los Angeles. He also wrote Are We There Yet?, which was produced in London and New York. He was a staff writer on ABC's “Clueless.”

GREGG EDELMAN (Charles Lindbergh) is a four-time Tony Award nominee whose many Broadway credits include , , 1776, , and . Off-Broadway, he appeared in Thief River and Reefer Madness. He has been seen in such films as Spider Man 2, Crimes & Misdemeanors, and Green Card.

KERRY O'MALLEY (Anne Morrow Lindbergh) starred as the Baker’s Wife in the recent revival of Into the Woods. Other Broadway credits include Get Your Gun, Cyrano, and Translations. Off-Broadway, she appeared in Promises, Promises at Encores!, Finian's Rainbow, How I Learned to Drive, and Dublin Carol. This fall, she’ll star in the Showtime series, Brotherhood.

BRIAN D'ARCY JAMES (Reporter) is the Tony-nominated star of such shows as Sweet Smell of Success, , and . He recently starred in City Center Encores! Pardon My English. He appeared Off-Broadway in The Good Thief, The Wild Party, and Floyd Collins. He recently starred in ’s White Christmas in San Francisco.

ANDREW POLK appeared in the national tour of Biloxi Blues and Off-Broadway in such shows as Critical Darling and Vick’s Boy. His many regional credits include productions at Long Wharf Theater, Arena Stage, Alley Theatre, George Street Playhouse, and the in London.

REX YOUNG has starred regionally in Betrayal and The Importance of Being Earnest at Actor's Theatre Of Louisville, as well as Long Wharf Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare , and Milwaukee Rep.

VICTORIA MACK has appeared Off-Broadway in The Truth About Blayds, Mr. Pim Passes By, and Far and Wide at the Mint Theatre Company, and in many roles at Shakespeare Theatre of NJ.

MELTING POT THEATRE COMPANY (Larry Hirschhorn, Artistic Director; Sean Patrick Flahaven, Managing Director) creates, develops, and produces New York premieres of plays and musicals that explore the themes, people, and events that shape the unique American experience.
