P.E.T. is an abbreviation for polyethylene terephthalate. It is a non-chemically-treated, recycled polyester that’s as earth-friendly as it is gorgeous. Vaccum, lightly brush with fresh or soapy water, or spray with a hose. Do not machine wash. Do not machine dry. No dry cleaning.
Due to the specific weave of this rug, we recommend using a soft vacuum brush for cleaning. Using the standard brush head on your vacuum may cause pulls, pilling, and damage to your rug due to the abrasiveness of the brush. If possible, turn the brush setting off on your vacuum before use, or set the beater bar at the setting farthest away from the rug so there is no abrasion. Using the upholstery attachment to vacuum may also help prolong the life of your rug. Due to handmade quality of our rugs, they may vary slightly in size and/or color.

Our indoor/outdoor rugs, cushions, and poufs are hoseable and charm in some recycled polyester rugs, these rugs have been woven with large-diameter yarns. Consequently, slubs, knots, and bleachable. Take them outside and hose them down or rinse other imperfections inherent to the hand-weaving process may be more visible on this style of rug than on a machine-woven rug or them off in the sink. Due to the specific weave of pet rugs, we recommend using a soft vacuum brush for cleaning. Using the standard brush head on your vacuum may cause pulls, pilling, and damage to your rug due to the abrasiveness of the brush.
If possible, turn the brush setting off on your vacuum before use, or set the beater bar at the setting farthest away from the rug so there is no abrasion. Using the upholstery attachment to vacuum may also help prolong the life of your rug.
