SUBJECT:—NOTIFICATION OF RETURNED CANDIDATES RELATING TO LOCAL GOVERNMENT BYE-ELECTIONS TO THE INDIRECT VACANT SEATS IN THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS OF THE PUNJAB PROVINCE.
No. F. 4(20)/2019-LGE(P).—In pursuance of the provisions of Article 140A(2) of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, provisions of Section 227 of Elections Act, 2017 Section 37 of the Punjab Local Government Act, 2013 read with Rule 19 & 46 of the Punjab Local Governments (Conduct of Elections) Rules, 2013 and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Election Commission of Pakistan is pleased to notify for information of general public, the names of returned candidates against the below mentioned Indirect vacant seats in the Local Government Institutions of Punjab Province as a result of uncontested elections and contested election held on 17-04-2019 as under:—
