SEVEN FROM SUNDAY – WEEK 6

A look at seven statistical highlights from games played at 1:00 p.m. ET and 4:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 16, the sixth week of the 2016 season.

 New Orleans passed for 465 yards, four and one in the Saints’ 41-38 win over Carolina. The performance marked Brees’ 15th career 400-yard passing game, surpassing (14) for the most all-time. Brees, who has 50,289 yards in 11 seasons with New Orleans, became the sixth quarterback to pass for 50,000 yards with one team.

Brees extended his streak of consecutive home games with a pass to 57, the most all-time.

Saints had seven receptions for 173 yards, including an 87- yard touchdown catch in the victory. Cooks, who had a 98-yard touchdown reception on Kickoff Weekend, is the first player in NFL history with two touchdown catches of at least 85 yards in his team’s first five games of a season.

 New England quarterback completed 29 of 35 passes (82.9 percent) for 376 yards and three touchdowns with no for a 140 in the Patriots’ 35-17 win over Cincinnati. Brady has 47 career games with at least three touchdown passes and no interceptions, the second-most all-time (PEYTON MANNING, 51).

Brady has 5,010 career completions and became the fourth player in NFL history to reach 5,000 completions, joining Pro Hall of Famer (6,300), Manning (6,125), and DREW BREES (5,515).

Patriots had seven receptions for 162 yards and a touchdown. The performance marked Gronkowski’s 22nd career game with at least 100 receiving yards, tying Pro Football Hall of Famer for the third-most by a tight end in NFL history. (31) and Pro Football Hall of Famer (24) are the only tight ends with more 100-yard receiving games.

rookie quarterback completed 18 of 27 passes for 247 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in the Cowboys’ 30-16 win at Green Bay. Prescott had 176 pass attempts without an interception, surpassing TOM BRADY (162) for the most pass attempts without an interception to start a career.

Cowboys rookie rushed for 157 yards in the win. He has 703 yards in six games this season, the second-most in a player’s first six career games (Pro Football Hall of Famer , 787). Elliott also became the only rookie to for at least 130 yards in four consecutive games.

Manning has 302 career touchdown passes and became the eighth quarterback in NFL history with 300 career touchdown passes. He also surpassed Pro Football Hall of Famer (300) for the seventh-most touchdown passes in NFL history.

Giants wide receiver ODELL BECKHAM had eight receptions for a career-high 222 yards and two touchdowns against the Ravens. Beckham now has 10 career games with at least 140 receiving yards, the most in a player’s first three seasons.

 Detroit quarterback passed for 270 yards and four touchdowns in the Lions’ 31-28 win over Los Angeles, his 10th career game with at least four touchdown passes. Stafford, who is 28 years, 252 days old, is the fourth-youngest quarterback with 10 career four- games. Only Pro Football Hall of Famers and BRETT FAVRE and PEYTON MANNING reached the mark at a younger age.

 Seattle quarterback completed 25 of 37 passes (67.6 percent) for 270 yards in the Seahawks’ 26-24 win over Atlanta, improving Wilson’s career record as a starter in the regular season to 50-19. With Seattle’s win, Wilson tied for the third-fastest (69 games) starting quarterback to reach 50 career victories. Only Pro Football Hall of Famer (62) and TOM BRADY (65) reached the feat in fewer games.

running back rushed for 204 yards and two touchdowns in the Dolphins’ 30- 15 win over Pittsburgh. Ajayi joined RICKY WILLIAMS as the only players in franchise history to rush for at least 200 yards and two touchdowns in a game.
