To whom it may concern,

I am a Corsham resident of some twenty years standing and I wish to object in the strongest possible terms to the residential scheme proposed.

My objections are as follows.

1. The Redrow Homes site holds an important position on the immediate outskirt to the Town , and notwithstanding some rather ordinary and recent new build on the right hand side of the road , has connectivity to the period property on both sides of the road adjacent to the Hare and Hounds Public House. I would implore the developers to adopt design characteristics which reflect the character of the historic town and Pickwick itself. Most certainly the housed adjacent to the A4 frontage should be of natural stone.

2. are frequent users of the Public Right of Way which runs through the site. I am dismayed at the width of the proposed corridor and believe this to be unacceptable.

3. I feel unbelievable sorry for residents of Academy Drive who have to face the noise , pollution and visual 'blight ' caused by the development both during the building phase and forever more. The landscape buffer must be significantly increased to be meaningful to ensure privacy and the residential amenity.

To say that this development ( and the one of Copenacre next to it ) is a public disgrace is an understatement but I recognise that it is too late to do anything about it in principle. My objections are raised to simply 'to make the best of a bad job'.

Yours faithfully
