NW, Albuquerque Philosophies of the lbuquerque Karma Thegsum Choling is very pleased to present a week of () with Meditation A Buddhist teachings and blessings with Practice and Practical Khenpo Ugyen Tenzin during the Memorial Day weekend and the week leading up to it. Applications to Everyday Life Khenpo Ugyen Tenzin received the Acharya degree from Nalanda Institute and Saturday & Sunday, May 25-26, Sampumanand University, jointly, in 10:00 a.m. – noon & 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. 1991. As a Khenpo, equivalent to a Ph.D. in Monday May 27 10 am to noon the Western academic context, he taught for six years at Albuquerque KTC Nimalung Monastery in , and from 139 La Plata Rd. In 2004, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa asked Khenpo Ugyen to teach at Karma Triyana , in Woodstock, NY, where he currently lives and teaches.

Suggested donation: $10 for Thursday evening, $15 for other sessions (no one will be turned away for lack of funds) Khenpo Ugyen is available for a limited number of interviews and house, business, pet, or other blessings during his Albuquerque visit starting Wednesday May 22nd. The Albuquerque KTC, a Tibetan Buddhist center in the Karma under the guidance of His Holiness the 17th Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, offers an intimate environment in which to learn, study, and practice meditation, as well as providing opportunities for interaction with learned teachers.
