The perfection of six qualities known as the Paramitas is the very heart essence of the practices of all the . Tulku Rigsang will speak about these six perfections and also give an explanation on the way to practice them, the benefits and positive qualities of having them, and their fruition. To know the Paramitas is not sufficient; the crucial point is to put them into practice and blend them with our lives. Over the weekend, Tulku Rigsang will teach the profound key points of the perfection of generosity, ethical discipline, patience, joyful effort, meditative concentration, and wisdom.

Tulku Tenzin Rigsang is a monk from Katog Mardo Tashi Choling monastery in Golog, eastern Tibet and also a close relative of Khentrul Lodro T’haye . Tulku Rigsang studied the Buddha’s teachings extensively, both in Tibet with H.H. Khenpo Jigme Phuntsog and in India at Namdroling and Drepung Monasteries. Tulku Rigsang has also received many teachings from H.H. the Dalai . Khentrul Rinpoche is delighted that Katog Choling will host his visit and teachings here in the United States and encourages everyone to come to the teachings and make use of this wonderful opportunity to further the study of the dharma.
