We hope that those of you that were part of the standing room only crowd enjoyed it, because the dancers sure had a great time! Thanks to our teachers, musicians, volunteers, emcees, and the parents who helped put it all together. Hopefully, everyone has recovered from Jaialdi, and is getting ready for the 2015-2016 Boiseko Gazteak season! The first dancing practice will be on Tuesday, September 29, at 7:00 PM. Registration: Online registration for Boiseko Gazteak will begin on Tuesday, September 8. It will be accessible until Tuesday, September 22. You will receive an email notification when registration opens with links to the registration documents. You may also register in person on September 22 at 7:00 PM at the Basque Center. Whether you register online or not, you will need to come to the Basque Center that evening if you need to have your children measured for costumes, have costumes altered, or purchase used costumes, shoes, and other costume accessories. This evening will also be an opportunity to sell your used costume to another parent (if you are selling a costume, please plan to arrive early so that the costume pieces can be priced prior to registration). For all dessert makers interested, please consider making your best or most famous dessert (cakes, pies, flan, tortes, rice pudding, cookies, brownies, etc.) to submit to the auction. Whatever you donate, including the plate or bowl or server, will be part of the item available for silent bid.
