Opening Night Party Shuttle Information

PromaxBDA Opening Night Party at Griffith Observatory Presented by A&E Television Networks in partnership with PBS/NOVA

Transportation to and from the opening night party will be by shuttle only. Onsite parking at Griffith Observatory is not available.

In order to board a shuttle for the opening night party, you must have a valid conference credential. Those without a credential will not be able to board at either location, so it is imperative that you pick up your badge at the registration desk in the JW Marriott before boarding a shuttle to Griffith Observatory.

Shuttles from the JW Marriott 6:00PM – 8:30PM

Guests may board the shuttles from the Gold Ballroom Foyer at the JW Marriott.

Shuttles from The Greek Theatre, Parking Lot G 6:30PM – 8:30PM

Guests may opt for complimentary parking at The Greek Theatre and take a 5-minute shuttle to the party. There are only 150 parking spots at the Greek Theatre for attendees based in Los Angeles and these are available on a first come, first served basis. Carpooling is recommended if you choose to park at The Greek Theatre. Parking in lots other than Lot G is not recommended, as you will be subject to towing.

Parking Lot G is at Vermont Canyon Road. A map can be found HERE and directions to the lot are as follows:

• From Beach Cities and South Bay - Take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Santa Monica Freeway (10) East to the Vermont Avenue exit, left on Vermont, which leads into Griffith Park. • From Pasadena - Take the Pasadena Freeway (110) South to the Hollywood Freeway (101) North to the Vermont Avenue exit, right on Vermont and follow it into the park. • From the San Fernando Valley - Take the Hollywood Freeway (101) South to the Vine Street exit. Go straight under the underpass and you will be going east on Franklin. Turn left on Western and follow it around, as it becomes Los Feliz. Turn left on Vermont and follow it into the park. • From Orange County - Take the Santa Ana Freeway (5) North to the 101 branch, to the Vermont Avenue exit, right on Vermont and follow it into the park.

Shuttles from Griffith Park 8:00PM – 10:00PM

Shuttles will be available in front of the Observatory to return guests to either the JW Marriott or The Greek Theatre Parking Lot G. Shuttles will be clearly marked as to their destination, so please ensure you are boarding the correct shuttle.

Private Limousine Private limousines are welcome for drop off but will not be accommodated for parking. Those without a conference credential will not be able to exit the limousine, so it is imperative that you pick up your badge at the registration desk in the JW Marriott before heading to Griffith Observatory.
