He's been going some 25 miles out to the rocky reefs with groups and they've been pulling grouper from five to 15 ft. in using both cut and live bait. "There's plenty of jewfish around too.'-he reported. "But you've got to have patience to get them." "They're also tough to get unless you're properly equipped because they're so strong," he conlinued adding that they've been caught from 50 to 150 lbs. u Lovetro's groups have been using cut bait such as mullet and ladyflsh and live bait like grunt and pinfish to tempt both the grouper and the jewflsh and a 30 to 50 Ib. line.
