This event held on Old Hickory Lake, near Nashville, saw 23 top Laser competitors answering the starting signal, with some boats coming from as far off as Chicago and Michigan. Needless to say, the racing was extremely competitive, with finish times and finish positions very close within the fleet. On Saturday, with 8 – 12kt winds, Jeff managed to sail to 6th place overall in the 4 races conducted. Sunday saw a little lighter wind, in the 3 - 8kt range, with big holes on the race course according to Jeff. In the final count, Jeff wound-up tied for 8th place overall, but, lost the tie breaker and took 10th place. The fleet also had a three way tie for first place, indicating
