Bridgewater marks record 17 years of rock eisteddfods BRIDGEWATER High presented its 17th con- secutive Rock Eisteddfod performance last month, a record for a Tasmanian school. Rock Eisteddfod coordinator Andrew Mackay said much of the success was due to the contin- ued support the school received from the local community. Mr Mackay said the students found the Rock Eisteddfod to be an exceptional opportunity to meet and work with students from other schools and with professional stage crew from Sydney. "They responded well to the challenge of per- forming in front of a very large audience," he said.
