Minister of Culture hails characteristics of the late Ayatollah Rafsanjani ۱۸:۴۵ - ۱۳۹۵/۱۰/۲۵

Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance during his provincial tour of Shiraz, by recalling some memories he had with Former President and prominent statesman said moderation, justice seeking and political fairness were some Mr. Rafsanjani’s main characteristics.

According to Public Relations and Information Center of Ministry of Culture, Mr. Reza Salehi Amiri said massive participation of people in burial procession of Ayatollah Rafsanjani showed that Iranian people respect their leading personalities. He added that Mr. Rafsanjani carried out the reconstruction crusade in the country in one of the most difficult period of Iranian history and was of the worst unfairly treated politician of our country. Minister of Culture said Mr. Rafsanjani was a true narrator of the ups and down of country’s political events and by his silence reacted to some malicious behaviors and disqualifications. Mr. Salehi Amiri said while most of the countries in the region are suffering from war and insecurity, Islamic Republic of Iran is the Island of peace and security in this part of the world and is ranked within the top 20 most secure countries of the world. He added that US Secretary of State has openly acknowledged that Iran holds the key to security of the Middle East and in addition to him all friends and enemies of Iran know that today Iran is the most important player in this region. Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said the government of Mr. Hassan Rouhani instead of getting involved in tensions is trying to promote country’s position in economic equations, OPEC and other global communities. He added that in post nuclear agreement era 100 foreign delegations have visited Iran and more than 11 billion Dollars foreign investment have been made in the country. Mr. Salehi Amiri said it is true that the enemy has broken his promises but we should not play his game and through vigilance and guidelines of the Supreme Leader and tact of other officials, advance our agenda adding that in case the condition prior to election of President Rouhani prevailed today we would be facing major crisis and problems.
