Ovu sluku uradio je protodjakon Marko Ilic, akademski slikar iz Beograda po porudzbini beogradskog svestenstva, koje je istu poklonilo Nj. Sv. Patrijarhu srpskom Germanu povodom 25-go­ disnjice nj:!gove patrijaraske sluzbe. Slika je istorijska - figuralna kompozicija sa dve figure. Jedna je figura Patrijarha Germana ponesena olujom (desno), ali trijumfalno stoji na tlu Beograda i dominira visoko iznad svih doga­ ajaja podnj:!govom krstonosnom desnicom. Krst bljesti u izduzenoj ruci i odbija svu vraziju silu, tog vecitog neprijatelja Crkve i verujuceg coveka, koja navire iz mraka (leva strana slike). Levom rukom cvrsto drzi zezal vlasti u polozaju cudotvornog koplja sv. Georgija. Zezal istovremeno potseca na drsku trosmislene zastave, koja se vije iznad beogradske Patrijarsije i Saborne crkve, a ukrasene bitnim crkvenim atributima (krst Njegove Svetosti, grb SPC i glava Patrijarhova) . Zastava je istovremeno crkvena, srpska i jubilarna: crkveno odredjuje grb, prevrnutu srpsku cine boje rukava neba i panakamilavke a jubi­ larnu saopstava tekst "25 GODINA". Drugu, stilizovanu figuru cini sve ostalo na slici: detalji i dogadjaji SPC is~ni sa Patrijarhovom crvenom mantijom, epitra­ hiljom i malim omoforom sto okriljuju Crkvu. Ova figura predstavlja SPC, sto se i nazire u oreolima oko glave i ispod pazuha Ptrijarhove figure. Srpska crkva se svojom desnom rukom pridrzava grcevito za zezal svoga Patrijarha, place, moli i zahteva brigu i mudro rukovo­ djenje.Njene klecece noge cini Pecka patrijarsija zajedno sa camcem i vodenom stihijom (u donjem delu slike). Burna istorija Crkve zna za stihije koje su pokusavale da sunovrate brod Srpske crkve i svojom maticom raznese najsvetije crkvene predmete (kao na slici u vodi) . U ovoj vodenoj buri oko Pecke patrijarsije se naziru i razbijeni i potonuli spomenici Srba - Pravoslavaca. U ovoj jubilarnoj godini izgoreo je konak Pecke patrijarsije (u sredini slike levo) . Na slici se vide: Saborna crkva, zgrada Patrijarsije, Avala (spomenik neznanog junaka).

Through the whole of its history. up to result of the historical unity of the church and our own days the Serbian Church has carried the and people. The church always served the spiritual needs seal of the personality of its first Archbishop of the people, creating at the same time a good organiser, St. Sava. The spirit of our Orthodoxy is in fact the spirit of St. Sava which has been and is Christian and a good citizen. It always cherished being carried on through the histor\' of his national love towards the national state, because through the national state it had the best conditions for fulfilling church.

By t~e "Ferman" (Decree) of Sultan Mustapha III. the mdependency of the Patriarchy of Pec was abolished in 1765 and it was subordinated to the Patriarchy at Constantinople which always sepa· rat~ly paid the contribution for the Patriarchy of Pec to the Sultan's treasury. The Serbian Patriarchy of Pec was restored in 1920, but its scat was trans· ferred from Pee to Belgrade where it has remained to the present day.
