Due to heavy rain the event was rescheduled to 21 st June when only 2 teams competed. Braemar did not get an invitation to the rescheduled date as they had not entered on the original date. This is something to bear in mind for future when rescheduling events.

Aboyne will host the 2016 competition on Sunday 2 October.

Deeside League The winners in 2015 were Aboyne who beat Banchory in a play-off at Ballater after both teams had tied on 14 points.

It was suggested and agreed that Ballater’s “free” week each year should be the week of their championship. G Young expressed disappointment that the league match against Ballater had not taken place in 2015.

Plus Four Scratch KO Competition The winners in 2015 were Banchory who beat Ballater in the final. Thanks to Aboyne for courtesy of their course for the final.

R Reid suggested that knock out matches should be played on Thursdays immediately following the conclusion of the league. Whilst this did not suit all clubs it was considered a good idea and was an option for clubs.
