15 16. ACCES TO SZCZECIN

Air - Szczecin is served by Szczecin-Goleniów "Solidarność" Airport which is 47 kilometres (29 miles) northeast of central Szczecin. It offers regular ights to cities in Poland (Warsaw, Kraków) and to international destinations (London, Liverpool, Dublin, Oslo, Edinburgh), as well as seasonal charter ights to other destinations. There is also a grass airstrip within city limits, the Szczecin- Dąbie Airstrip.

Buses and Trams - There is a popular public transit system operating throughout Szczecin, including a bus network and electric trams, that is run by a number of companies on behalf on ZDiTM (Zarząd Dróg i Transportu Miejskiego; Road and Public Transport Administration).

Roads - The A6 motorway (recently upgraded) serves as the southern bypass of the city, and connects to the German A11 autobahn (portions of which are currently undergoing upgrade), from where one can reach Berlin in about 90 minutes (about 150 km). Road connections with the rest of Poland are of lower quality (no motorways), though the S3 Expressway has improved the situation after its stretch from Szczecin to Gorzów Wielkopolski opened in 2010, and then another section connecting to A2 motorway opened in May, 2014. Construction of Express Roads S6 and S10 which are to run east from Szczecin has also started, though these roads will not be fully completed in the near future. CAR BREAKDOWN / COLLISION 17. Mode of operation „AutoGuard Safety Tracking Operation” The „AutoGuard Safety Tracking Operation” installed in your vehicle during the Rally sends a signal to the Rally Command Centre (RCC)

In case of stopping the car on the SS system is sending the warning signal to the car unit. The lamps in manipulator panel (Green ad Red) start blinking. That means that operator of RCC see the car standing on the SS and expect to have the information from the crew. Within 1 minute from stopping over the Special Stage the driver or the pilot should press the proper button to clarify the situation

PRESSING the GREEN BUTTON means that there is NO NEED to send the emergency service ( OK. ). To avoid accidental activation, the GREEN button must be depressed for 2 seconds. Correctly pressing the green button will be conrmed by short blink of green lamp in the button and acoustic signal (two short loud beeps).

NOT PRESSING the Green Button within 1 minute after stop on the SS means the necessity of an assistance and it will initiate the intervention of the emergency service.

In case of emergency, when the crew would need any help form RCC the RED BUTTON should be pressed. Depressing the RED BUTTON means the emergency and the crew need help for themselves or for somebody else (for example, if they noticed any dangerous situation over the SS) To avoid accidental activation, the RED button must be depressed for 2seconds. Correctly pressing the red button will be conrmed by short blink of red lamp in the button and acoustic signal (two short loud beeps).

The console also includes a signalling button and indicator light in BLUE. This is the Car-to-Car system If you catch up on the Special Stage the vehicle and unable to lead the crew sends a request to RCC by pressing BLUE button shortly (0.5 seconds) . RCC after verifying the situation of the GPS system passes the command to the crew overtaken resignation of the road. For the crew overtaken ash of BLUE light and an audible signal. The overtaken car conrms the command by pressing the GREEN button
