Notification in respect of Creation of Chandannagar Police Commissionerate & Hooghly (Rural) Police District by bifurcating existing Hooghly Police District, have been issued vide Nos. 2467- PL dated 15/06/2017, 2468-PL dated 15/06/2017 and 2469-PL dated 15/06/2017 and published in Official Gazette on 30/06/2017. the Notifications are in force w.e.f. 30/06/2017.

2. 4. The Governor is also pleased to engage 31 (Thirty one) part time Sweeper for Chandannagar Police Commissionerate and 0(twenty) part time Sweeper for Hooghly (Rural) Police District with consolidated remuneration of Rs.2000/- only per month to be paid out of Contingency fund.

5. The posts mentioned in Para No. 2 above may be filled up on observance of extant recruitment rules.

6. The charge is debitable to th appropriate Head of Account in the Budget.

7. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their U/O No. Group P2/2017-2018 / 0147 dated 22/05/2017 read with further U/O No. Group P2/2017-2018/0196 dated 31/05/2017 and approval of the cabinet held on 08/06/2017.

Sub. : Implementation of the recommendations of the Seventh Central Pay Commission - Dress Allowance.

Ref. : Letter No. 11002/1/2017-AIS-II dated 25/07/2017 of Government of , Departmental Personnel & Training.

Consequent upon the decisions taken by the Government on the recommendations of the Seventh Central Pay Commission, in supersession of the existing orders relating to Uniform related Allowance viz. Clothing Allowance, Initial Equipment Allowance, Kit Maintenance Allowance, Robe Allowance, Robe Maintenance Allowance, Shoe Allowance, Uniform Allowance and Washing Allowance which have been subsumed in a single Dress Allowance, the Governor is pleased to decide the rates of Dress allowance in respect of IPS Officers of West Bengal Cadre as under :-

3. The amount of Dress Allowance shall be credited to the salar8y of Employees directly once in a year in the month of July.

4. The rates of Dress Allowance will go up by 25% each time Dearness Allowance rises by 50%.

5. These orders shall take effect from 01st July, 2017.

NOTIFICATION

The Governors pleased to order that the recommendation of the Seventh Central Pay Commission relating to grant of House Rent Allowance (HRA) to Central Government employees, as notified vide OM no. 2/5/2017-E-II(B) dated 7th July, 2017, by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, Government of India, shall be implemented in respect of IPS Officers of West Bengal Cadre at the prescribed rate with effect from the prescribed date, as mentioned therein.

A copy of the said OM order is being sent to all concern.

This issue with the concurrence of Finance (Audit) Department vide their U.O. No. 2038- Group P2 dated 10/08/2017.

In exercise of the power conferred by section 2 of the Police Act. 1861 (5 of 1861) read with section 2 of the Bengal Police Act, 1869 (Ben Act VII of 1869), the Governor is pleased hereby to constitute three police districts namely Sundarban Police district, Baruipur Police District and Diamond Harbour Police district in the district of South 24-Parganas by dividing the existing Police District having respective territorial jurisdiction as mentioned in the schedule below for the purpose of the Police ct 1861.
