with Brookdale Community College What Is The Early College Academy?

The Early College Academy is intended to give academically prepared students the opportunity to earn an Associate of Arts, Social Science degree from Brookdale Community College while also achieving their high school .

The Early College Academy is structured as a four year cohort allowing enrolled students to satisfy high school graduation requirements and Brookdale’s college-level courses in fulfillment of the requirements. Objectives

● Provide rigorous and engaging instruction ● Create new pathways to college degree attainment ● Facilitate timely progression through the curriculum ● Provide for concurrent high school and community college graduation

What if my child does not score a 3 or higher on their AP exam? They will need to pay for and pass the BCC equivalent course on the BCC campus. Is there transportation to Brookdale Community College during their 11th and 12th grade year? Yes! Busing is provided. Can my child still play a sport and/or be involved in extracurricular activities? Yes!
