2) Full day tour Dresden

Baroque, Neo-Renaissance and Classic are collected and have become an integral part of Dresden. After the massive bombing of the city during the night of the 13th to the 14th of February 1945, this destroyed city kept not only its courage but also its flair and promptly began to rebuild and reconstruct its buildings back to their original beauty and structure.

Numerous attributes have been given this city. Called the Florence on the Elbe, Dresden is a city of culture and art.

One of the most famous of the sights in Dresden is the Semper Opera House, newly reconstructed and as breathtaking as when it was first built, the Grüne Gewölbe (the green vault), the Albertinum with the art gallery, the Zwinger, built for Augustus the Strong and of course the Court Church. The Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) is now completely reconstructed. Each of the original stones has been numbered and tagged and were used in the rebuilding.

Also Dresden enticed poets such as Schiller, Kleist, Tieck and Uhland and world famous musicians such as von Weber, Wagner and Richard Strauss. All of them were pulled to this city and caught up in its current and atmosphere. Allow yourself the opportunity to be caught up and intoxicated by this once in a lifetime atmosphere.
