A Matter of Perspective: To make a large object appear smaller, just look at it through the wrong end of a pair of binoculars! This is a good illustration of how we as Christians should deal with our problems. Denying that there is a problem doesn’t help. Christians have difficulties just like everyone else. But we do have a resource — Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ — that helps us deal with our problems constructively so that we aren’t totally wiped out by them. The secret is to view our problems in light of God’s infinite grace and power. Our problems are manageable when we use these resources that are part of the birthright of every Christian.
