Wichita Archery, Inc. Take I-135 South to 47th St. South exit. Go east on 47th street to 3799 E 71st St. South Hydraulic street and turn right (south) on Hydraulic. Turn east Wichita, KS 67206 (left) onto 63rd St. S., then turn south on Grove. Turn left on Cider Street, which will turn into E 71st St. S. Follow to the end of the dirt road and turn right at the Wichita Archer, Inc.sign.

ELIGIBILITY Open to all 4-H members, “4-H age” 9-18 years.

AGE BRACKETS Juniors: 4-H Age 9-13 year olds before Jan. 1, 2021 Seniors: 4-H Age 14-18 year olds before Jan. 1, 2021

FORMAT Both FITA and Field Archery/3-D competitions are offered at this match. Designated practice rounds will be followed by archers rotating through both (or either) the FITA and Field Archery Range.

FITA COURSE Traditional 10-ring FITA targets set at 20, 30, and 40 meters.

Practice Seniors: 6 arrows at 40 meters Juniors: 6 arrows at 30 meters Junior Competition 12 arrows at 20 meters 12 arrows at 30 meters Senior Competition 12 arrows at 30 meters 12 arrows at 40 meters

1 Field Archery/3-D Course 14 3-D targets with stakes marking both a junior shooting distance and senior shooting distance. Distances and locations will be determined by the range master and will be unmarked. No rangefinders will be permitted.

Practice Seniors: 6 Arrows at 40 meters Juniors: 6 Arrows at 30 meters Junior Competition 1 arrow per target at each of the 14 targets, shot from the junior marker. Senior Competition 1 arrow per target at each of the 14 targets, shot from the senior marker.

AWARDS The top archers in the following categories will receive awards: ● Top score in all four classes in FITA for both junior and senior, respectively. ● Top score in all four classes in 3D for both junior and senior, respectively.

RULES Will be conducted according to qualifier and General Kansas 4-H State Match Rules and Kansas 4-H policies.

CONCESSIONS Will be available, including a meal deal with a pulled pork sandwich, chips, and a drink for $5.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE Monday, August 16, 2020. Only the registration forms are due by this date/time.

TO REGISTER ● Fill out the match registration form completely. ● Registration form must be signed by your county 4-H shooting sports coordinator, extension agent, and by your county’s 4-H archery leader. ● Registrations will only be accepted by one person per county. ● Ensure that your registration form and fees are delivered to the registration contact person by 5 PM Monday, August 16.
