Fundraising Ideas Restaurants
Many restaurants are available for fundraiser awareness events.
How does it work? A restaurant fundraiser gives you an audience where you can share information about ICP - Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy with the community and raise money. Many restaurants partner with nonprofits to host fundraisers.
In a typical restaurant fundraiser, the restaurant gives a charitable organization or special community event a percentage of the sales on a designated night.
How do I set up a restaurant fundraiser? Most restaurants require that you work directly with your local franchise to plan your event.
We have compiled a list of restaurants that accept requests for local fundraisers for ICP Care 501(c)(3) charitable organization you can view here. Many of these restaurants have on-line request forms to start planning your event.
Do you know or have a relationship with the owner or manager of a local restaurant that is very popular in the community? After setting a date with your local restaurant, you can promote the event online using social media and post flyers throughout your community
Review the following list:
1. Date/Time 2. Flyer or coupon required-discount for new book (see attached sample) (national chain restaurants have their own flyers available for your use) 3. Communication Plan (Who do they know in the media they could involve?) 4. How can we share info about ICP. Print out the ICP Infographic! 5. Make sure to take photos at the event to share on your social media and with ICP Care.
6. Note: We can also help connect you with other ICP Care volunteers in your area who are interested in hosting events.
