Role of the school link EP
Please note that the school link EP is available for the SENCO to talk to informally about issues or possible requests for children and young people who have EHCPs. The link EP will not always be the EP involved in EHCP consultations or Annual Review work for their school. Involvement in this work will depend on the link EP’s capacity at the time of allocation and other factors. For informal consultations about children/young people who do not have an EHCP, SENCOs can ring the EPS telephone advice line (dates sent directly to schools).
