ffittePage Junior Production...a night to remember
Black Cat is perhaps the most-highly anticipated ASC event every year.
Junior production is a show performed by the junior class (like Ele Paynter, above) for the rest of the campus community, usually pokingfun
at one or two or ten or twelve groups on campus. But don 't worry, it's all in goodfun. 2 Opening Who needs to study when you can lounge around?
Students enjoy many places on campus to relax and take study breaks. Alston Campus Center, the Quad on a sunny afternoon, dorm rooms, or
even the libraiy offer many comfortable benches and
chairs like this one (left, at
Alston) for students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Yes, it's true America... we do
still see men and enjoy their company. During activities such as Hands On Atlanta, Agnes Scott women have the chance to socialize with stu- dents from other area univer-
sities while still lending a helping hand.

During Orientation Week at Agnes Scott, firstyear students are introduced to a new city, state and for a few - a new country All are officially introduced to the world for women. To get these newbies adjusted, Orientation Council makes preparations months ahead to keep these ladies busy theirfirst week. Thisyears activities included a visit to the world of Coca Cola, arts and craftsprojects, a concert, a footballgame and the excitement of their first ASC formal ceremony - the signing of the honorpledge.
Student £tfe Firstyears begin to form the close bonds of friendship early on as they explore the campus, enjoy concerts and are entertained by the first of many skits performed on campus.
Orientation week ended with a bang. The first- years were introduced to the music ofJennifer Netties, a former Agnes Scott student. They also watched upper classmen preform the Do's and Don'ts skit The first-year girls also en- joyed their first Georgia Tech Football Game.

"God of the Marching Centuries" is not played at this ASC traditional event. We tend to hear more
contemporary school songs, like "Beer, Beer, Beer," among others. However, a certain nostalgia rings clear in the hearts of Seniors, Juniors, Sopho-
mores, and First-years alike- Black Cat is the end
for some, and just the beginning for others. Mark-
ing the end of Orientation for First-years, the last Black Cat for Seniors, and a resurgence of school
wide spirit, Junior Production gives the entire Agnes Scott family something to celebrate to- gether.

Under the Moon 43 LOOKING FORWARD TO THE FUTURt
These seniors followed the yellow brick road into Agnes Scott and found themselves in a whirlwind of activities, new voices, and different views. Through the years they've learned many things about themselves and about their fellow Scotties.
It's been a long, hard road, but in the end it's definitely worth the time and trouble. Now that
they've successively made it through foour years
of excruciating pain - 1 mean thought provoking classes and activities - these Queens are ready to go out and make the world their own. True, the days of lounging on the quad and in the dining hall (until the lights get cut off), having discus- sions about the lecture from Dr. Johnson's class, capping, the general insanity of Black Cat Week and Junior Production, self scheduled exams and exam breakfasts, Taco Bell/Krispy Kreme/any-
