    C ITY M ANAGER The Community The City of Dallas, Texas is centrally located in North America and has a population of approximately 1.3 million residents and is the third-largest city in the state of Texas and the ninth largest city in the United States. With the cost of living at 98.9% of the national average and no personal income tax, Dallas offers a wonderful quality of life.
