EMRS State Voting Intentions March 2020

Polling was conducted from the 3rd to the 10th of March 2020. 1,000 adult Tasmanian residents were interviewed and responses weighted to reflect the Tasmanian adult voting population. A sample of this size provides a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points at the 95% confidence level.

Figure 1 – Decided Voters Supporting or Leaning towards a Party The latest EMRS poll was conducted from the 3rd to the 10th of March 2020 calling 60 both landline and mobile telephone numbers 50% throughout . 47% 44% 43% • Support for the Liberal State Government remained relatively steady, down just 40 1 percentage point from the 33% 34% last poll in December 2019 to 31% 43% currently. 29% • Support for the Labor Party increased by 3 percentage points since December 2019, 20 now at 34%.
