“We first came across this beautiful detached stone built house in 1982,” say the current owners of The Stone House in the popular village of , “but a dear friend of ours bought the property instead of us. This did however mean that we got to spend a lot of time in the house over the years, falling in love with it more and more, so when we got the chance to buy it in 2015, we were delighted.”

As the village used to be the junction point for the old canal systems, there is a pretty little Marina which is well loved by locals. The village hall and parish church both have lively calendars of regular social events, clubs and activities.”

Set on a hill between Dunchurch and Daventry the village occupies a lovely spot and is close to the junction of the Grand Union Canal and with the Braunston Marina close by. The village offers excellent amenities with a village school, a butcher, general shop with post office, hairdresser, garage and a newly established community cafe. There are also four pubs and a fish and chip shop. As well as the ex- cellent road network surrounding the village there are train stations at both and Rugby with high-speed connections to London, Euston in under 50 minutes.
