The Bill Belichick Foundation Grants 2014

The Bill Belichick Scholarship, a $5,000.00 annual grant, recognizes 5 deserving communities or organizations in need of additional support. It’s geared towards creating, guiding and fostering the athletic leaders of tomorrow who will embrace the Foundation’s values and pay that knowledge forward to the next generation.

Bill Belichick is the only head coach in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in the span of four season. The New England Patriots’ Head Coach has enjoyed great success during his NFL coaching career, winning two additional Super Bowls with the New York Giants and guiding the

Cleveland Browns’ turnaround as head coach.

Belichick is an ardent advocate of local charities and education and has consistently demonstrated his support through a wide variety of activities and contributions. He continues to build on that commitment through the Bill Belichick Foundation a newly formed nonprofit organization created to provide coaching, mentorship, and financial assistance to individuals, communities and organizations with a focus on the sports of football and lacrosse. The

Foundation’s mission is to bring the values of the Belichick family – a love of sports, coaching and teambuilding – to the athletic leaders of tomorrow.

Qualifications:

- Need to be a school or qualifying sports organization

- Must illustrate need for funding or plans for growth

- Must be in existence for two years or more

- Submit a letter of intent

- Complete the written essay

- Submit completed application by August 1st to the Bill Belichick Foundation at:
