SEEKING THE EXTRAORDINARY Ep 3 - Ty Law: Why this Pro Football Hall of Famer and Successful Entrepreneur Bets on Himself FEB 9, 2021 [00:00:00] Michael Nathanson: [00:00:00] Welcome fellow seekers of the extraordinary. Welcome to our shared quest, a quest, not for a thing, but for an ideal, a quest, not for a place, but into the inner unexplored regions of ourselves, a quest to understand how we can achieve our fullest potential by learning from others who have done or are doing exactly that. May we always have the courage and wisdom to learn from those who have something to teach. Join me now in seeking the extraordinary. I’m Michael Nathanson, your chief secret of the extraordinary. Today’s guest is the founder of the high- ly popular Launch trampoline parks, a serial entrepreneur. He’s now an equity owner of V1 vodka, but you may know him better for his 15 years in the NFL. He won three super bowls. As part of the New England Patriots, he was selected for five pro bowls and was a pro bowl MVP. His 53 career interceptions are among the [00:01:00] best in NFL history, making him one of the best cornerbacks of all time. He’s a member of the 2019 class of inductees into the NFL Hall of Fame, joining only 325 other members in this most special achievement, please welcome the extraordinary. Ty Law. Ty, welcome. Ty Law: [00:01:21] Thank you. I like the intro. I liked the intro.

The totals you see are correct. *Looking for sortable projections by position or category? Check out the projections tab inside the ESPN Fantasy game. *'Team stat rankings' is where each team is projected to finish in the category that is shown. *'Unit Grades' is not related to fantasy football and is an objective ranking of each team at 10 key positions. The overall grades are weighted based on positional importance. The scale is 4.0 (best) to 0.1 (worst). A full rundown of Unit Grades can be found on page 51. *'Strength of Schedule Ranking' is based on 2020 rosters (not 2019 team record). '1' is easiest and '32' hardest. QB Brian Hoyer Press Conference – October 11, 2017 San Francisco 49ers Listen to Audio I Media Center Do you look at the last game, especially the final eight minutes of the fourth quarter as something to build on? “Yeah. Like we talked about after the game, just have to execute more. It might be one play that might be the difference. It might be the first play of the game. It could be in the second quarter, could be in the third quarter. Obviously, the last eight minutes that was just the situation we were in. We had to score and we had to score fast. Hopefully build on that and then execute more especially when it gets to the red area. Instead of settling for so many field goals.” Does the offense function better when there’s that sense of urgency, kind of a nothing to lose type of mentality that you have to go out there with when you’re down 14? “No, I don’t think so. I think the game always dictates how you’re playing. I believe that. When there’s eight minutes to go and you’re down two touchdowns, you know you need to score. Maybe you’re more prone to take a shot to [WR] Marquise [Goodwin] and basically give him a chance to make an opportunity, which he did. That got us down there really quick. Kind of similar to when we were playing the Rams and we hit a big one to [WR] Pierre [Garçon] to get it going. I think sometimes that can spark something in the offense and just kind of get the energy going a little bit.
