2. Comments Provided by Sault Ste. Marie Region re: Levy Sharing Agreement: Only a small fraction (1%) of SSMRCA’s jurisdiction falls within our second municipality, therefore, the Levy payable is determined by calculating the percentage of CA lands that fall within each municipality (Therefore 99% of the Levy asked for comes from SSM, and 1% from Prince Township). Each agreement is made based on these numbers.

3. Conservation Authorities Supported by City of Hamilton: There are four Conservation Authorities supported by City of Hamilton that are not included in the list above. They are: Niagara Peninsula, Halton, Grand River and Hamilton. All of these have moved from levy allocation per agreement to levy allocation per formula during the years 2015-2018.
