Issuance of this certificate, attests that the Pacific Agricultural Certification Society has received an application and organic plans from the above-named enterprise, has reviewed its records, inspected its fields and facilities and has verified that the products identified are organically produced or handled in accordance with the Canadian Organic Production Systems General Principles and Management Standards CAN/CGSB-32.310 and Permitted Substances Lists CAN/CGSB-32.311 – 2015, as amended from time to time and with the terms of any Canadian organic equivalency arrangements indicated.

Certification under sections 12 and 13 of the OPR remains in effect until surrendered by the holder or revoked by the Pacific Agricultural Certification Society pursuant to section 20. However, continuing certification requires an annual update of the organic production/handling plan, annual inspection and annual certification review by PACS. Failure to reapply prior to the termination of the effective period identified above (or by an earlier renewal date, as stipulated by the PACS office) results in a state of non-compliance which can lead to suspension and cancellation of certification.
