Sources for Visual Materials
Bureau of Art Education/Division of the Humanities and the Arts Black Art and Afro-American Art (Sources for Visual Materials) was compiled because of the many requests which have been received from thc: schools of our state. The available sources listed in this publication will provide all classrooms with teaching materials whose content will better reflect the ethnic and cultural diversity of cur world.
The material in this publication was organized by Thomas Jambro, under the direction of Vincent J. Popoli7io, Chief, Bureau of Art Education. Cover drawing by James V. Gilliland, Associate, is from a Senufro carving (Ivory Coast).
