Paul Simon hosted the live CBS telecast, and he let us know that he was obviously reading cue cards. He introduced the award presenters and the singers, a list of which was fantastic-Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Kenny Loggins, Barbra Streisand, Irene Cara, Manhattan Transfer, Anne Murray, Billy Joel, Barry Gibb-the list is endless. The music was great, as are the winners.
