The area just beyond Tarragona, in the Costa Daurada’s interior, is home to a fascinating mystical and religious legacy: the Cistercian Route.

The route links three monasteries, a set of architectural, historical and cultural monuments of great interest from Catalonia’s illustrious medieval past. Among them, visitors will find the Poblet Monastery, which remains active even today, and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Reus is a typical Catalan city, internationally recognised for its important Art Nouveau heritage and for its close link with the architect Antoni Gaudí, as well as being and ideal shopping destination.
