Administrator Dressage, Para-Equestrian Dressage, & Vaulting Department

Formed in 1921, the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) is the governing body for all international events in Jumping, Dressage and Para-Equestrian Dressage, , and Para-Equestrian Driving, Endurance, Vaulting and Reining. It establishes the regulations and approves equestrian programmes for Championships, Continental and Regional Games as well as the Olympic & .

FEI promotes in all its forms and encourages the development of the FEI equestrian disciplines throughout the world, keeping the welfare of the at the heart of all activities.

Today, the FEI has 134 members of National Federations and there are over 3,700 international events annually, including a number of FEI Championships and global FEI series. Over 90,000 riders and are registered and women and men compete as equals.

Over 80 FEI staff are working in FEI’s headquarters in Lausanne, ensuring the sport continues to grow and flourish, the rules are enforced, the results are processed, the international calendar is managed, and that the very values that are at the core of equestrian sport are safeguarded and promoted.

The FEI is looking for a full-time Administrator for its Dressage, Para-Equestrian Dressage, Reining & Vaulting Department. The position is based in Lausanne and the starting date is October.

Purpose of the Role

The candidate will provide administrative support in the management of the disciplines of Dressage, Para-Equestrian Dressage and Reining and to the Director of the department.

Key Responsibilities

General administration duties - Provide administrative assistance to the Director - Answer to various queries and issues from Stakeholders

Organization of courses, seminars and meetings - Manage course calendar and all its organization process including the invitations, preparation and dispatching of documentation, post course follow-up, etc. - Organize the committee meetings including logistics aspects and minute taking. - Update the FEI website with all relevant information related to the disciplines.

Position Requirements - International administrative experience required (5 years minimum) - Fluent in English (written and spoken) - Knowledge of equestrian sports - Excellent command of MS Office - Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and take ownership - A team player with the ability to build good relationships - Strong organizational skills
