Physical Literacy Activity Resource Guide A Kaizen guide that is continually changing and improving! Collated by Vicki Harber (Sept 2012)

The following guide provides references to help you make revisions and adaptations to your current physical activity programs. The list of resources will help you design programs to allow children more opportunities to develop physical literacy. Remember to develop physical literacy children need to be exposed to physical activity in all five (5) environments (in or on water, in the outdoors, on the ice/snow, on the ground, and in the air) and with a variety of fundamental movement skills (FMS). FMS can be divided into stability, locomotor and skills. This guide is not exhaustive. Please be creative in adapting your activities and use all resources available to you!

How to use this guide: The following guide includes a list of resources that address environment, stability FMS, locomotor FMS and object manipulation FMS. Four tables highlight the resources for the following:
