FT LAUDERDALE, FL JANUARY 20-21, 2018 Workshops- $60/weekend • $40/day flowfests.com • @flowfests Sponsored by: Aloha! My name is Ahlee (Allie) and I am an east-coast based bal- ance instructor, performer and fire dancer! I share my passion for through Indo Board balance trainers, conveying balance as a platform for a healthy life through focus on posture, body aware- ness and motion. I have been a multi-prop performer for 5 years, beginning my career street performing in Ocean City MD with a hoop and an Indo Board. I am almost entirely self taught but also have had the pleasure of exchanging lessons with flow instructors from around the country at various events. Indo Boarding has evolved into my own performance-art and fitness vector and have officially been a sponsored athlete for a year now though total I have been using them for about a decade. Balance touches our lives in every aspect. It often takes a step back to realize that part of our life may be unaligned (off balance) and causing distress. I am also passionate about ethnobotany and self-sustainability. I was fortunate enough to travel to Trinidad in June 2015 and work with world-renowned herbalist Francis Morean. Together we wrote an ethnobotany guide for the attendees of Asa Wright nature centre to effectively navigate them through the local foliage and their uses. “All acts of healing are ultimately our selves healing our self.” Ram Dass

No partner is necessary, come ready to be challenged and ready to succeed. I started dancing when I exited high school. From clubs, to under- ground raves, to festivals, I always felt a rhythm in my body from music that I was told should be still in school. I found fire dancing first, then flow arts. From the beach to -you tube, I found other spinners adding in the popping and liquid movements I adored as a dancer. That is when I realized that I could evolve with this art. I have grown to incorporate a number of staffs into my routines, focusing on double contact as what enam- ored my , sending tingles down my spin every well landed movement and pattern. https://www.facebook.com/RoFireDancer https://www.youtube.com/user/SteadyMonotony
