Brian Lee & Conceptual Design [email protected] www.brianleearts.com

Bio

Hi, my name is Brian Lee.

Since graduating from the Institute of Art – Los Angeles I’ve had the pleasure of working for the entertainment and industry for close to 12 years now. During this time I have held multiple titles ranging between an entry level Roto artist to a VFX Stereo Supervisor. One of the highlights of my supervising experience was working with ILM’s supervisors Dorne Huebler and Dennis Muren during the creation of the stereo version of Star Wars Episodes II and III. Although I really enjoy the stereoscopic world, the fact is, my heart remains with creating the art and the visual look of a film through Matte Painting, Concept Design, and hopefully as an Art Director some day. Ever since I was a little kid I have been studying light and the stunning visuals it creates. While growing up in rural Alaska and the American Midwest, I was raised on Looney Toons cartoons, Animaniacs and Indian Jones . But mainly, spent most of my time wandering around in the woods with a sketch pad and number 2 pencil. I feel very fortunate to have found a career that allows me to continue to explore and develop this passion. Thank you for your time and your consideration.
