To My Parish Family At Saint John the Baptist and Saint Terence:

As I write this letter, I am beyond thankful and in awe of ’s goodness to me. During the past month, I have received numerous calls, texts, and letters of support and encouragement for my upcoming pilgrimage to Rome. I cannot tell you how much all of this means to me. For everyone who has supported me financially for this trip, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I cannot tell you how appreciative I am. This whole experience has truly helped me to realize that as Catholics, we are truly one family in Christ . When I began planning this trip to Rome, I knew that this would be an incredible experience for me. In discerning the Cath- olic Priesthood, I cannot think of anywhere in the world that would be more influential on my vocation. I pray that this trip will be fruitful for my own life so that I may continue to serve the people of our amazing diocese in whatever way the Lord asks of me. Hopefully that will include becoming a for the Lord in a couple years. I have been praying for each and every one of you in the past years, but I will be praying in a special way for all of the intentions and families of Saint John’s and Saint Terence in every Church that I walk into on this pilgrimage. If there is a special intention that you would like me to pray for by name, please send me an email or find me on Facebook and send me a message. While I am going on this trip alone, I would like to take the prayers and love of my parish family along with me. I have a small book that I have been writing all of these prayer intentions in for the past week. This book will remain with me in my pocket every day so that I really take along all of the prayers and intentions of our family. Please continue to pray for me and for my vocation. It is my hope to continue to serve you and the Church of the Diocese of Shreveport for as long as the Lord allows me to in His Divine Providence. Your Humble Seminarian in Christ Jesus, Jeb Key [email protected]
