Staff are to note that during movements the N.M.T emits a powerful light source which could be mistakenly identified as a binding brake or sparks being emitted from the bogies, and as such, does not require to be reported to the controlling Signaller. However, if in any doubt, then normal operating procedures should be carried out. (25/03/05 REV 17/02/10) (UFN) WARNING THE EQUIPMENT IDENTIFIED BELOW HAS BEEN ENERGISED AT 25000V AC AND MUST BE REGARDED AS LIVE AT ALL TIMES OVERHEAD LINE SYSTEM: Maidenhead Stabling Sidings Maidenhead Loop and Bourne End Branch Line on the Great Western Main Line The following equipment is being energised: New overhead line equipment on the Maidenhead Sidings Roads 1 to 6, from MLN1 24m 32ch to 24m 59ch; the Maidenhead Loop in its entirety, from MLN1 24m 3ch to 24m 51 ch; and the Bourne End Branch Line up from MLN1 25ch to WBB 24m 39ch. Group standard GE/RT8000 Module AC (AC Electrified Lines) and Company Standard NR/SP/ELP/29987 (Working on or about 25kV AC Electrified Lines) shall apply and all persons concerned shall ensure that they are supplied with a copy. There is no danger to persons providing these instructions are strictly observed.
