2012-2015 Plano Independent School District Plano, TX Director of Orchestras, Jasper High School Orchestras (Grade 9/10 Campus) § Students won 2014 Texas Honor Full Orchestra competition, the first non-varsity ensemble to do so in Texas history. § Students made finals for Texas Honor String Orchestra competition: 2nd place (2015), 5th place (2013). § Students named National Winner of Mark of Excellence National Orchestra Honors: 2015 Sting Orchestra, 2014 Full Orchestra. § Students won The American Prize in Orchestral Performance in 2013 and 2nd place in 2014. § Students routinely earn annual UIL Sweepstakes awards in all five ensembles. § Responsible for operation of 200+ student program and cluster activities with feeder middle schools.

2011-2012 Lewisville Independent School District Lewisville, TX Director, Lewisville High School Orchestras; Cluster Orchestra Head § Returned all orchestras to UIL Sweepstakes in one year. Program had earned twos and threes in previous years.

CONDUCTING APPOINTMENTS______2009-2012 Dallas Festival of Modern Music / Ars Nova Dallas Dallas, TX Artistic Director / Conductor § Non-profit organization shining a spotlight each year on contemporary art music. Ars Nova Dallas was the festival’s resident professional chamber ensemble. § Highlighted conducted repertoire includes Stravinsky’s Histoire du Soldat, Kurt Weill’s Violin , ’s Petroushskates, and several world premieres.

2007-2012 Tyler Youth Orchestra (now East Texas Youth Orchestra) Tyler, TX Music Director / Conductor § Led the flagship ensemble of the three orchestra organization. § During first year in position, increased enrollment in the top ensemble by over 75% and in the other two orchestras by 35%. Sustained growth continued in following years. § During tenure, developed orchestra from an ensemble largely performing arrangements to an orchestra performing only unabridged works by significant composers. § Created the Tyler Youth Orchestra New Music Project, featuring an annual commissioned work for the orchestra.
