IGP Collines Rhodaniennes IGP Collines Rhodaniennes Modification du cahier des charges en vue de l'intégration de huit cépages patrimoniaux. Présentation de l'IGP Collines Rhodaniennes Le territoire de l'IGP est situé sur 5 départements : Rhône, Loire, Ardèche, Isère et Drôme. Il entoure les AOP du Rhône nord: Côte Rotie, Condrieu Saint Joseph, Crozes Hermitage... Mais aussi des zones exclusivement en IGP telles la vallée du Gier ou la Drôme des Collines. En 2016 l'IGP comptait 450 hectares pour une production d'environ 21000 hl. En 2018, la surface dépassait les 520 hectares et la production était de 27000 hl : Environ 60 % de rouge ( essentiellement Syrah) 35 % de blanc ( majoritairement Viognier plus Marsanne ) et 5 % de rosé. Fort dynamisme des plantations puisque plus de 150 hectares d'autorisation de plantation on été demandées par près de 80 opérateurs depuis la campagne 2016/2017. La commercialisation est réalisé en quasi totalité en bouteilles et en petit bibs. La valorisation est importante car tirée vers le haut par les AOP prestigieuses du secteur et des opérateurs particulièrement dynamiques. Malgré la concurrence avec d'autres IGP ( Ardèche, Méditerranée, Drôme, Comtés...) ou du Vin de France un marché vrac Collines Rhodaniennes bien valorisé est en train de naître. L'IGP collines Rhodaniennes s'affirme comme le « génerique » du nord des côtes du Rhône. Historique Le vin de pays des collines rhodaniennes est crée par décret du 5 mars 1981. Encépagement Cépages Blancs : Aligoté, Chardonnay, Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier Cépages Rouges : Cabernet sauvignon, Gamay, Grenache, merlot, Pinot, Syrah En 2009, les vins de pays passent en IGP. L'occasion pour le syndicat des producteurs des collines rhodaniennes d’affirmer l'identité septentrionale de la dénomination en intégrant (en plus des cépages déjà présent sur le territoire) des cépages locaux et alpins. Encépagement de l'IGP Cépages blancs : Aligoté, Altesse, Chardonnay, Chasselas, Chenin, Clairette, Jacquère, Mondeuse blanche, Muscat à petit grain, Pinot gris, Ravat, Roussanne, Sauvignon, Sauvignon, Verdesse, Viognier Cépages rouges : Cabernet franc, Cabernet sauvignon, Carignan, Cinsault, Durif, Feunate, Gamay, Gamay de Bouze, Gamay de Chaudenay, Grenache, Merlot, Mondeuse N, Pinot N, Syrah Le syndicat est engagé depuis 2009 dans le processus d'inscription des cépages : - Bia Blanc (Avec l'Isère et la Savoie) en 2011. - Dureza en 2013 Il a appuyé le formidable travail de conservation, d'inscription et de développement de l'association des vignerons de la vallée du Gier pour le Mornen et le Chouchillon. La suite logique : - Modification du cahier des Charges après les inscriptions des derniers cépages sur la liste nationale (Notamment du Chouchillon en 2017 car devant passer par une phase d'expérimentation) - Prise de contact avec les services de l'INAO . Nombreux allers retour avec les services de l'INAO afin de préparer le dossier. - Nécessité de démontrer l’antériorité de ces cépages sur le territoire : recherches documentaires, appui du domaine de Vassal (cas de la Rousse et du Chatus) - Nécessité de démontrer l’intérêt de ces cépages : Potentiel agronomique, adaptation climatique, intérêt commercial... - Travail d'élèves de Supagro Montpellier pour la réalisation des fiches cépages .

    Glen Carlou Syrah 2010 Our 2010 Grand Classique exhibits intense dark cherry red with purple hues to the eye; well integrated cassis and blackberry fruits with slight spicy hints of cinnamon. The ripe and concentrated briary fruit, cherry and cocoa flavours on the palate of this rich and well balanced wine has a long finish which is balanced by fine tannins and a harmonious acidity. The ideal red wine to lie down in your cellar for up to 10 years whereby you will be richly rewarded. You say Shiraz, I say Syrah - it's the same grape none-the-less. In France it is known and grown as Syrah, and responsible for some of the Northern Rhone's big, bold red wines. However, in Australia and South Africa it goes by Shiraz. DNA profiling in 1999 found Syrah to be the offspring of two obscure grapes from southeastern France, Dureza and Mondeuse blanche. Syrah should not be confused with Petite Sirah, a synonym for Durif, a cross of Syrah with Peloursin dating from 1880. This agreement between Canada and the European Community is the result of bilateral negotiations which took place from 7 November 2001 to 24 April 2003 on the basis of a negotiating mandate adopted by the Council on 1 August 2001 (Doc. 11170/01). The agreement comprises arrangements for the reciprocal trade in wines and spirit drinks with a view to creating favourable conditions for its harmonious development. 2. The agreement specifies oenological practices which may be used by producers of wine exported to the other Party, as well as a procedure for accepting new oenological practices. The Community's simplified system of certification will be applied to imported wines originating in Canada. Canada will not introduce import certification for Community wines and will simplify the extent of such testing requirements as are currently applied by provinces, within a year of entry into force. Production standards are agreed for wine made from grapes frozen on the vine. Concerning production standards for spirit drinks, the agreement provides that Canada will adhere to Community standards for its exports of whisky to the Community. 3. Procedures whereby geographical indications relating to wines and spirit drinks of either Party may be protected in the territory of the other Party are agreed. The current "generic" status in Canada of 21 wine names will be ended by the following dates: 31 December 2013 for Chablis, Champagne, Port and Porto, and Sherry; 31 December 2008 for Bourgogne and Burgundy, Rhin and Rhine, and Sauterne and Sauternes; the date of entry into force of the agreement for Bordeaux, Chianti, Claret, Madeira, Malaga, Marsala, Medoc and Médoc, and Mosel and Moselle.

Abstract : Two specialists, NEGRUL (1946) et LEVADOUX (1948) proposed for Europe vine-plants cultiva- ted a classification in natural groups issued from ecogeographical areas relatively closed in their situations and evo- lutions. These ampelographs are complementary in their propositions, Russian for Eastern Europe and French for Western forms. Middle-East is the probable origin of mediterranean viticulture with its vine-varieties then the local wild forms in more septentrional vineyard extensions. After sortotypes or ecogeogroups definitions, anterior structural propositions of French vine-varieties in eco-geo- graphical groups are developped by individual integration forms in taxonomic and morphologic unities. The pre- sent propositions are not immovable nor definitive but as such they may be useful in recent genetic advancements. They can confirm or not some new biochemical diagnosis. From Greece it was brought to Italy by settlers to Cumae near modern-day Pozzuoli, and from there spread to various points in the regions of Campania and Basilicata.
