Thammasat University Notification on Measures and Recommendations on the Prevention and Control of Coronavirus (COVID-19) (NO. 28)

Pursuant to Notification on Measures and Recommendations on the Prevention and Control of Coronavirus (COVID-19) No. 27, upon monitoring the current situation of the spread, and following the announcement of the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), it appears that the number of newly infected cases have continued to rise in several provinces of . With concern for the health, and for the purpose of prevention and risk reduction of infection among university personnel and students having to travel, to work, or to participate in a variety of activities,

To respond to these incidents, Thammasat University hereby issues the following measures:

1. Offices at Tha Prachan and Campuses will be temporarily closed from 12 July – 1 August 2021. The university operation is to be suspended. University units shall implement the work- from- home arrangement for their staff. Individual offices must determine communication channels and publicize them for efficient operations. University units, whose functions are related to security, public health, system maintenance or others that require their staff to work on site to ensure the ongoing functioning, will be subject to the discretion of that unit head and responsible Vice Rector while strictly complying with public health measures. Such unit heads or Vice Rector must report the grant of permission for on-site working to either the Vice Rector for Administrative (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs or the Vice Rector for Rangsit Campus Administration (Campus Life), depending on their base campus.

2. The operations of Thammasat University at and Campuses shall continue in compliance with Thammasat University Notification on Measures and Recommendations on the Prevention and Control of Coronavirus (COVID-19) No 27, Item 1. The Vice Rector for Administration (Lampang Campus) and Legal Affairs and the Vice Rector for Administration (Pattaya Center) may determine staff work patterns, work rotation arrangements or any further measures deemed appropriate.

3. All academic and supportive staff and students shall strictly follow and comply with the measures issued by the Thai government as well as the local authorities.

These measures are effective immediately.
